The Youth Solutions Program by SDSN Youth is one of these initiatives. Since the publication of the first edition of the Youth Solutions Report in January 2017, the Program has grown exponentially, quickly becoming a reference point for discussions around the need to build innovation systems that are both youth-inclusive and aligned with the SDGs.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is “grounded in [..] international human rights treaties” and is informed, among others, by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and UN Declaration on the Right to Development. The 2030 Agenda “seeks to realize the human rights of all”. It also explicitly seeks to ensure that no one is left behind, reflecting the fundamental human rights principle of non-discrimination.

Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Report 2018: Recent Trends and Developments

The Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Report (APTIR) is a recurrent publication prepared by the Trade, Investment and Innovation Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. It provides information and independent analyses of regional trends and policy developments in trade, goods and commercial services, as well as foreign direct investment. It also provides insights into the impacts of these recent and emerging developments on countries’ abilities to meet the challenges of achieving sustainable development.

Comparative analysis of 43 VNRs submitted to the HLPF 2017

The paper provides a comparative analysis of the Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) that were submitted to the High-level Political Forum in 2017. The purpose of the analysis is to identify major commonalities and differences in countries’ approaches to implementing and reviewing the 2030 Agenda. A special focus was put on three main themes: institutional mechanisms, participation of non-state actors, and statistics and data.
