Five years into the agenda, 2020 will be a key critical for accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. 2020 is also the kick start of the Decade of Action announced by the UN Secretary-General and marks the UN’s 75th anniversary.
To ensure representation of voices from the Asia-Pacific region on “Volunteering for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, we invite all individuals and/or institutions in Asia and the Pacific to share their expertise and knowledge products for the Evidence Library of the UNV global knowledge portal, which will be launched in 2020.
Youths for SDGs is a 2-day conference for high school students to come together to discuss global issues, raise awareness on SDGs, and come up with innovative solutions to ongoing real life problems.

This toolkit is a set of comprehensive training materials – PPT and exercises that aim to facilitate and enable national experts – government officials, academics, UN Country Teams to run training workshops for senior to junior government officials and other audiences on integrated policies, systemic thinking and policy coherence for the SDGs.

On December 30, 2019 at 12:00 PM at NITI Aayog, New Delhi, NITI Aayog (a leading policy think tank of the Government of India) will launch the second edition of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) India Index, which documents the progress made by India’s States and Union Territories towards implementing the 2030 SDG targets, on 30 December 2019 at NITI Aayog, New Delhi.
The SDG Pulse is an annual statistical publication reporting on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The purpose of this report is to provide an update on the evolution of a selection of custodian or co-custodian SDG indicators along with complementary statistics that reflect UNCTAD’s broad mandate.
Local2030: Localizing the SDGs is a network and platform that supports the on-the-ground delivery of the SDGs, with a focus on those furthest behind. It is a convergence point between local and regional governments and their associations, national governments, businesses, community-based organizations and other local actors, and the United Nations system. Local2030 supports local leaders in collaboratively incubating and sharing solutions, unlocking bottlenecks and implementing strategies that advance the SDGs at the local level.
