Affordable, sustainable and low carbon transport solutions in Asia-Pacific

On the occasion of the Asia-Pacific Climate Week 2019 (APCW), which takes place on 2-6 September in Bangkok, Thailand, the SLoCaT Partnership calls on all countries in Asia and the Pacific to work together with national stakeholders to develop comprehensive and coherent sustainable and low carbon action plans. By leapfrogging outdated and inefficient transport solutions, Asia-Pacific countries can move rapidly to cost effective and efficient mobility solutions.

A Better World Vol. 5

With the establishment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015, the Human Development Forum at Tudor Rose has expanded its publishing operation with the creation of a series of volumes entitled A Better World, each dedicated to one or more of the 17 SDGs. This volume, published in May 2019, covers Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

The first facilitated session of the ESCAP/ IRP e-learning course on Resource Efficiency will take place from August 5-25, 2019! By following the facilitated session, participants can pace and complement their learning through additional materials, targeted questions, and optional exercises, in addition to having the ability to interact with their peers.
