The Circular and Biomimicry Built Environment Group has opened on the SDG Community of Practice! This Group is a collaborative space for Circular and Biomimicry Build Environment enthusiasts under the SDGs.

Biomimicry is the design and production of materials, structures, and systems that are modeled on biological entities and processes. Biomimicry designs are often highly innovative and can provide sustainable, eco-friendly, and insightful solutions to design challenges, especially in the built environment. Meanwhile, introducing circular design components ensures the sustainability of the built environment.

In this Group, we are committed to share our time, energy, experiences, networks, and resources to scale the triangle of the change in the built environment via escalating the cycle of hope and actions. In this way, our road map is the 17 SDGs.

Applying these principles will be important in the post-COVID reconstruction as development picks back up to accommodate for the still-growing and resource hungry global population.

Looking forward to seeing you here!
