newDemocracy Foundation

newDemocracy is first and foremost a research organisation. Their principal interest is to ensure citizens trust government decision making. They do this by working with governments to design and operate public engagement projects that enable everyday people to contribute to reaching shared and trusted recommendations around challenging areas of public policy. They seek to work exclusively with government decision-making and not for private individuals or companies.

Durham Global Challenges Centre for Doctoral Training

This new and innovative centre is funded by Durham University for three years 2019-2021. The Centre currently consists of a single cohort of 25 international PhD students, all citizens of a developing nation. Each student is undertaking a three year fully funded PhD programme designed to identify steps towards a solution to a specific global challenge aligned with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Climate Interactive

Climate Interactive is an independent, not-for-profit think-tank that grew out of MIT Sloan in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Based on a long tradition of system dynamics modeling, their simulations and insights help people see connections, play out scenarios, and see what works to address climate change, inequity, and related issues like energy, health, and food.
