The Sustainable Development Goals Philanthropy Platform (SDGPP, or the Platform) is a global initiative that connects philanthropy with knowledge and networks that can deepen collaboration, leverage resources and sustain impact. As a global and national facilitator, it helps partners to optimize their resources and efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by enabling effective collaboration with the broader ecosystem.
Launched in July 2014, under the leadership of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Foundation Center and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA), and with the funding support from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the MasterCard Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and others, this multi-year initiative focuses on philanthropy’s input into the developmental landscape by helping foundations to better understand the opportunities for engaging in global, national, and local development processes.
