SDSN to Launch Launch New SDG Data Portal in Partnership with Esri and National Geographic Society

SDGs Today

On July 15th, 2020, SDSN in partnership with Esri and the National Geographic Society will launch SDGs Today: The Global Hub for Real-Time SDG DataSDGs Today aims to provide a snapshot of the state of sustainable development around the world right now, while enabling users to access and engage with real-time and timely data on sustainable development, obtain GIS training and resources, and learn how to use the data effectively to drive action on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDGs Today has the potential to revolutionize how we understand and communicate the urgency of the SDGs, how we develop solutions, and the speed and quality with which we do both.

We invite you to join our events this week listed below for the launch of the SDGs Today portal where you will hear from SDSN President Jeffrey Sachs, along with several distinguished panelists from across academia, government, the UN, and private sector, and learn more about the importance of timely data for accelerating progress on sustainable development.
