August 12th marks International Youth Day, held to raise awareness of the need to ensure the engagement and participation of youth. Creating awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among youth is important for driving their implementation, both today and going forward into the future. Before going back to school, youth and educators alike are encouraged to look into both free and educational resource for students and educators that promote knowledge sharing for the SDGs and can serve as tools for their professional and personal growth and empower them as actors for sustainable development.

Similar to the SDG Help Desk, UN SDG:Learn serves as one such resource. This ongoing Summer Challenge challenegs you to learn more about the SDGs by completing the SDG Primer e-learning course and SDG Primer Test, or the Introduction to the 2030 Agenda: A New Agenda for a Sustainable World e-learning course through UN SDG:Learn.
