Venice City Solutions 2018 - Financing the SDGs at local level

Venice City Solutions 2018
Venice City Solutions is opened to local and regional governments, ministries in charge of planning, finances or the overall implementation of Agenda 2030, as well as selected partners such development banks, donors and private sector with the objective to identify existing experiences, gather data and provide solutions to the challenge of how to finance the implementation of the SDGs at local level.
The Venice City Solutions is co-organized by UN-Habitat,United Nations Capital Development Fund – UNCDF theUnited Nations Development Programme and United Cities and Local Governments. The Venice activity is hosted byAICCRE, the Italian association of local governments, and technically supported by FMDV, the Global Fund for the development of cities.
Four thematic trails will be addressed in Venice: 

Thematic trail BLUE: National strategies for financing the achievement of the SDGs at local level; 
Thematic trail YELLOW: City Solutions, how local governments are making the Agenda 2030 a reality at local level; 
Thematic trail GREEN:Measuring impact at local level: the importance of data on budget alignment; 
Thematic trail RED: Dynamic local economies to achieve the 2030 Agenda2030
